Warcraft 1.23b Patch - Warcraft 3 TFT 1.23b Patch News and Updates. As we know that Warcraft 1.23 Custom Map virus is infecting WarCraft 3 players. So Blizzard is going to release Warcraft 1.23b Patch to solve this major issue. This post is created to share the latest news and updates about War3 1.23b Patch. Recently IceFrog posted an update of about Dota Allstars New Map Code which will work in WarCraft 3 TFT 1.23b Patch Engine. He said that he needs a large amount of players to test/check whether the current Dota-Allstars map code is stable in the upcoming WarCraft 1.23b Patch or not. There is a statement from Blizzard as well.

Beta Testing New Map Code in WarCraft 1.23b Patch (from IceFrog):

I am working on lots of code updates for DotA to support the upcoming warcraft 3 patch. Because of the nature of this update and the amount of code that will be changed, it will require a large amount of beta test games to find any new glitches that come up. If you are interested in taking part of this when the map is ready, either respond to this topic with your email address or post in this thread. In addition, please provide your timezone and where you usually play.

Also Blizzard's statement about WarCraft 1.23b Patch:-

Following our temporary fix to address the recently identified Warcraft III exploit, we have begun preparations to implement a permanent resolution of the issue on Battle.net. As a consequence of this fix (which prevents the possibility of malicious software being spread through Warcraft III maps), we do anticipate that some functionality in current maps will need to be adjusted before it will work properly. Before deploying the fix, we’ll be working closely with the makers of some of the most popular maps to ensure that their maps continue to stay playable on Battle.net with little to no interruption. In the meantime, we’ll be hosting a Public Test Realm (PTR) for map makers to test their maps beginning on June 9th, 2009. We will also be hosting online guides to help map makers make the transition into the new patch during this process. Throughout this process we’ll keep everyone posted on any updates leading up to the release of the patch.
